Updates:

March 14, 2025: Renovation on the Pride Promenade streetcars about to start.

A number of neighborhood folks took a tour of the streetcar that will serve as an ancho tenant in the heart of the Promenade. They need a lot of love before their debut on the Promenade, but we never met a Grande Damme in Hillcrest we couldn’t make beautiful again!

February 17, 2025: Paver Booster Program activates the power of neighbors!

Want to help us get out the word about this program and get great rewards at the same time? The Paver Booster Program is what you’re looking for. When someone purchases a paver sponsorship and credits you with a unique code, it’ll add to your tally and you’ll get great rewards from credit at our opening day events to your own free paver. Reach out to us at info@hillcrestbia.org if you’re interested in this program.

March 17, 2025: Paver Booster program extended to business locations!

Businesses can add a display within their location to help us sell pavers. The HCF will provide a display featuring a paver (much like the ones that will be included on Pride Promenade) and information about the campaign. A QR code will lead customers to the payment portal for the pavers. Table tents are also available for restaurants to promote the program.

Email info@hillcrestbia.org if you’re interested in being a Business Booster.

February 16, 2025: Pride Promenade Breaks Ground.

After years of waiting, the City of San Diego, SANDAG, and hundreds of community members finally broke ground on Pride Plaza and the media were there to cover it!
